The Things You See (when You Haven't Got Your Gun)

When I look at the edge
Oh it scares me.

Though I know I'll go,
Always go back.

If there was somewhere to go,
My boat wasn't holed on the reef.

And my lack of belief
In the truth I am seeing...

To you I'll tie
My inner eye
Which never, ever
Ever lies.

Leave behind
To seek
And find
Within
The things
You see.

@vidsforsquidsThis album is definitely incredible as are the performances of all involved. And I really believe this is some of the best bass playing to date on Allan’s composition. Paul Carmichael’s robust and thick tone anchors the whole thing so well. Very lively, melodic & memorable. He did an outstanding job!

@NicknLex
@NicknLexAllan Holdsworth changed my life forever in the year 2005. I thought I knew a lot about music and guitar. I remember the first time hearing Allan play. I was an instant fan and I was terrified and felt blessed at the same moment.
@SedanChair
@SedanChairI like how 0:06 just opens the album by rewriting western harmony in the space of a lick
