Antonio Camargo Carrasco (01/061926, Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico - 05/08/2020, Mérida, México), better known as Tony Camargo, is a Mexican singer considered one of the icons of typical music. His parents were Manuel Camargo and Guadalupe Carrasco, who were also singers by profession. Tony Camargo has been compared to Beny Moré, "El Bárbaro del Ritmo", with whom he shared orchestra, stages and recordings (as in the case of the boleros Esta Noche Corazón and Sin Razón Ni Justicia, where Camargo plays the first or main voice) ; unlike Moré, who has been greatly honored, the Mexican has been relegated to indifference.
