About Tiggy

Tiggy (originally from Bornholm, Denmark) kickstarted her music career in 1995 when she became a part of the girl group, "Surprise, Surprise" (with Annette Buonaventzen and Veronica Mortensen.) In 1996 she recorded the song "Ring a Ling" with Flex Records and sang on the Danish Christmas series, "Kummernes Jul", produced by TV2. The following year, Ring a Ling was released as a single and immediately shot to #1 on the Danish singles charts, as well as her follow-up single "Simsalabim". Her first record, "Fairytales", enjoyed the same popularity. Her second, self-titled album was released in Japan in 1999 and featured a cover of the Japanese pop song "Sobakasu" ("Freckles") for the Dancemania series.
