Gospel - soul group from Detroit, Michigan, U.S. Comprised of the second, third, fourth and fifth sons of the ten children of [a=David Pop Winans] and [a=Delores Winans] of the extended [a=The Winans Family]. They were discovered by [a=Andraé Crouch] and they recorded between 1981 - 2000. Two of them ([a=Carvin Winans] and [a=Marvin Winans]) along with [a=BeBe Winans] re-emerged in 2014 as [a=3 Winans Brothers].
