Syrhea Conaway is a multi-instrumentalist and music instructor who lives and works in St. Louis. Writing, arranging, and performing music since age 10, Conaway has earned medals in District and State competitions, and she performed at Carnegie Hall with the National Youth Chorus at age 18. She has since twice performed for TEDx Gateway Arch, given musical speeches for the Arts and Education Council, been a panelist on “Women in Music”, moderated conversations with Damon Davis, as a part of USDAC and the Regional Arts Commission’s CultureSHIFT 2016, as well as St. Louis Blues Society’s Race and Blues series in 2018.
