@bammkhun6733The heat coming off that guitar! ????
@boataxe4605As a non professional guitarist, jam nights here and there, I am extremely grateful to Melvin, he was the headliner when I was at a friend’s birthday party at Rosa’s and a bunch of people with our group started asking if I could play, he said yes. I thought I was going to do one song, but he kept me up for a second one, trading leads with him has been the highlight of the guitar playing part of my life! He played with Pinetop, who played with Muddy, so that’s as close to the real shit as one can get. I also want to thank his second guitarist ( who’s name I don’t know) for handing a beautiful, great sounding, great playing Les Paul to a complete stranger! I think that untucking my shirt and pulling it down over my buckle helped ( always do that when playing someone else’s guitar)!
@chug2138The original (SRV), is an absolutely amazing track.
This cover version (Melvin Taylor), is off the Richter scale, mind blowing, literally channeling the unknown AMAZING.
Such a fantastic song, both versions, but I prefer the wild ride on this version.
Thanks Melvin.
