Goofs

While Yogi is handcuffed to the tree, the handcuffs switch from his right paw to his left and back again repeatedly.

As Yogi dives down in the Basket Nabber 2000 to grab the turtle the g-mens' SUVs are parked diagonally upper right to lower left as seen from the air, but shots on the ground show them parked diagonally left to right.

When Boo Boo is trying to stop Yogi from "helping" out at the anniversary celebration Yogi's weight makes him slide through the leaves making them form a pile behind him.

They then cut to Yogi's face then back again and the leaf pile has disappeared.

In the 3-D version of the movie the footage from the "Boo Boo Cam" should not have been in 3-D.

After a stage falls when Ranger Smith leans on it, a farther shot shows him reaching to grab his head in frustration.

However, in the next close-up shot, he is standing with a stoic expression, without having his arms anywhere near his head.

The uniforms of Rangers Smith and Jones indicate that Jellystone is a National Park, where the Mayor would have no jurisdiction, thus invalidating the central conflict.

Reviews

I thought this movie was silly, but it is targeted for a younger age group. 10 year olds would probably think it's great.

To compare this movie with films like 'Inception' or 'Avatar' as I have been seeing from other review is one of the stupidest things you will probably ever do. You just know that people who come those two watch 1 film every day and think they know it all.

Like many of these big screen adaptations of cartoons this clearly has been a labour of love, they've tried to get the right people doing the voices, but sadly it doesn't quite come off.

I didn't grow up with Yogi bear (as some of my friends did), so I didn't really have any emotional connection to the movie. And while it is mediocre at best, I feel it does exactly what it aims for.

Now I'm no stranger to Hanna Barbera cartoons but Yogi Bear is unfamiliar to me. But what I do know is it's about two talking bears that steal picnic baskets, which you barely get that in this film.

Yogi Bear (2010): Dir: Eric Brevig / Cast: Tom Cavenagh, Anna Faris, Andrew Daly / Voices: Dan Aykroyd, Justin Timberlake: Here is an example of computer generated images taking charge while plot and story becomes threadbare. It is also based on a classic Hannah Barbara cartoon that deserves better cinematic respect than this.

Don't watch this movie. It's horrible.

Yogi Bear (Dan Aykroyd) lives in Jellystone Park always scheming to nab pic-ka-nik baskets with his side kick Boo Boo (Justin Timberlake). Ranger Smith (Tom Cavanagh) is in charge of keeping the peace.

Is this flawless, NO!! Is it a U rated movie, NO!!
