The first season I liked it but not much, It was good not gonna lie but not for me Season 2 gave us a good beginning and a s*** ending like why are hbo doing this??
I don't understand how tell pulled of such a great first season and such a horrible second one. They were trying to kill me of boredom.
Season 1... amazing.
Not a contraversial opinion, but the second season is garbage. Season three is decent, with the best part being the performances from Mahershela Ali and Stephen Dorff.
Well, he is brilliant in this, intense and evocative, and even though at times it feels a bit hammed up, there's still something so dark and intense, pained coming through him. It's brilliant.
I liked season 1, but thought the ending was a bit too clever, too contrived. Season 2 was forgettable.
Score for season 1 only. Avoid season 2 and 3.
Slow and meandering, this show goes nowhere and takes its sweet time getting there. It tries to be quirky to make up for a lack of story and character development, but it doesn't work at all.
