Just got done watching this film. Holy shimmy.
Poorly written. Decent acting.
Sorry but I just could not stick with this. I watched it because of Elizabeth Moss's part in it.
The only reason why I decided to write this review is because I was disappointed that I was not warned before seeing this show.Don't get me wrong, the show had an amazing cast, especially Elisabeth Moss and Peter Mullan who kind of made this show the best it can be.
Not good. Pretty cringe-worthy actually.
Scandinavian dramas are the in thing on UK television in the last few years. If we cannot make our own adaptations (Wallander) then we just bring them over with subtitles such as The Killing.
This mini-series was truly awkward and the events are very unrealistic. The show in its self is okay to watch because of the excitement that it creates, always leaving something there for the viewer.
Season One was great except for Holly Hunter. She was a complete waste of a character.
This Jane Campion chronicles police detective Robin Griffin (Elisabeth Moss). The first season takes place in New Zealand.
