The Secret Of My Success is an absolutely brilliant film which I absolutely loved and enjoyed watching. I hadn't seen this film since it first came out in 1987 and was loving everything in the film when watching it.

I've been a fan of Roger Ebert's movie reviews, and how he's used the term "idiot plot" to describe a situation where the problem in the movie would be immediately solved if the characters weren't total idiots. "Secret of my success" has an "idiot plot" but there's also a lot of good amusing fun in the movie too.

Not great. but nice.

This film is definitely weird but a good weird. Read on to find out why.

Michael J Fox does a wonderful job in this movie. Our main character played by him, is a man trying to make his way in the big city.

Brantley Foster (Michael J. Fox) is fresh in New York from Kansas.

I'd seen this movie on rotation via HBO back when I was a kid and Katrina & the Waves were just blasted all over the radio. What this movie suffers from, and what a similar movie like "St.

Arthur Tate (James Booth) inherits 15 million pounds and reveals the secret of his success. He recounts his rise starting as a constable in a small town.

Michael J. Fox is essentially the only element that saves this from disappearing amongst its generic, 'John Hughes'-type peers.
