I think that is a sin... But the letter on the Bible so much stronger on this sci fi.
I'm going to try and avoid spoilers, but there might be a couple. I don't think it will be anything that will ruin the movie for you.
First of all, I want to clarify that I am not a Christian, nor have I read bible. With that being said, I didn't understand a bit of this movie.
This is good Sci-Fi/Steampunk which tells the story of the Redemption of mankind from the angelic perspective. If you really want to understand the nuances of this film, though, you'll need to be familiar with the Record (kept by the Record Keeper).
While the technical execution of the film was good, it is scary that by the end of the sixth episode, you're feeling sympathetic toward a fallen angel and Lucifer is forgiving angels for their sins. Then a few episodes later, the director takes a cue from "The Shack" by portraying God as a black woman.
This film is too deep for shallow minded persons to comprehend. It is a parable.

It actually is a very compelling film which gives a lot of food for thought. One gets a bit of a glimpse of what it must have been like for the angels (both good and fallen) who had to experience the division and the developing as well continuing controversy between good and evil.
