Considering this show is supposed to have action, this show has almost none, I can only really count the best fights from this show on one hand (there are only around four), the rest are incredibly slow or have several hit flashes to the point it seems like a power point slideshow than an action cartoon. I am not expecting grotesque action like from the original but I do expect there to be some decent level of action.
I used to watch this show everyday as a kid. It was so relatable and I feel the main 3 girls perfectly capture what it means to be a kid.
This review will ensure everyone will down vote this reboot. This reboot is horrible to the point where it might as well as called: "Cartoon network likes animation because they don't have to pay the actors squat: plus they can replace them and no one can tell the difference: the series", "they just didn't care: the series," and four kids English dub the series.
Sure I'm not happy that the original voice cast is not coming back but at least they brought back everyone else. Well at least they kept the superhero concept about saving the world.
There are many reasons why this is the current worst series of Cartoon Network and reboot the worst caricatures of the story: First Error: Cartoon Network Powerpuff Girls introduced a very sappy way Second Error: it is a feminist series to the Social Justice Warrior example "A horse or pony class that becomes unicorn" really????? besides that the plot is very horrible.
I have seen the first two episodes and lemme just say...It's great.
Why did they have to bring this show back and ruin its original integrity? I am not about this show.
This is actually one of the best reboots (actually one of the Only) Cartoon Network has ever given us. The stories are actually good.
The first eleven-minute episode finds Buttercup making a new group of friends, a series of Roller Derby girls who call themselves The Derbytantes. These feisty chicks are totally up Buttercup's alley, and she ends up spending more time with them than her own superhero sisters.
