The Myth is one of the best Chinese Movies as well as it is also a remarkable movie in the world wide film industries. This movie brings Chines Mythology which is also one of the oldest in the world.

It's got classic silly Jackie Chan fight scenes full of slapstick and energetic acrobatic moves which keep it funny and entertaining, but it's also far too long. The modern day story's daft, the historical costumes look cheap and it gets really poor in the final act with weak CGI, a pantomime villain and awful romance scenes.

Apart from some very inventive fight scenes, Mallika Sherawat might be the other thing you take away from this movie. The fight scenes are something you came to expect from a Jackie Chan movie.

Well, that's the most polite and objective way to express my feeling about this movie. I think they called it (The Myth) whether because they found no title fair enough to describe the incompatible elements that they chose; concerning history, legends, transmigration of souls, BLAH BLAH BLAH, or maybe they named it (The Myth) unconsciously as the closest word to (The Mess)!

Review: This is another one of those over complicated movies that I really got fed up watching! It started of simple and I was quite impressed with the way it looked but once it started to go back and forth in time, I really lost interest.

I watched this movie more than ten years ago so I decided to rewatch it and while I was watching it the second time I was more attentive to details. I may confess that when I saw the movie the first time my mind was just blown up so it was amazing for me but for the second time I noticed some flaws and gaps.

No fun no humor even the action was terrible.released in 2005 the myth is a Chinese film starting Jackie Chan & malika shirawat & other actors.

It's worth seeing the movie just even for the rat glue factory scene. It's a wonderful Jackie Chan physical comedy.

Jackie stars as an archaeologist who falls asleep and wakes up as a general in another time. The movie is an epic, with a stunning soundtrack (that I still listen to to this day), beautiful visuals and a grander storyline than his other movies.
