I only watched this movie because of all the high reviews. But sadly, they all lied.
I just couldn't get past the fact that I was watching rich people swimming in privilege like fish swim in water, ruining their lives for no reason. It's maddening to watch people struggle when all they have to do it sit down and relax, maybe watch some tv or something.
This is the kind of movie that I enjoy, filled with complicated relationships that don't always turn out as you expect or hope.
Anders decides to retire early as he can't stand his finance job. When we meet him, that's already happened, so we have to take it on faith.

If you like formulaic Adam Sandler or Michael Bay files (like Transformers or Armageddon), then you won't like this film.The three complaints about this film are that it's focused on the minutia of life, is slow, and the characters aren't likeable.
A very mediocre movie with a bad script with no depth and nothing to offer is a pity to get Movies Without Nothing to give you.

Although Ben Mendelsohn does a good job, this movie is full of extremely unlikeable characters with no motivation whatsoever. I didn't really understand why Anders Hill did everything he did throughout the movie, and the same goes for every other character.
