While I'm not sure this is totally the best vehicle for the talents of Emily Atack, there is enough here to make a claim that she should be given further opportunities.
Just dire - avoid at all costs! I can only assume this was commissioned due to the current gender politics and #metoo movement, as frankly there cannot be another explanation?
Put simply, this show is absolutely pathetic. Who decided it would be a good idea to use canned laughter?

This show is so awful it can only be described as watching an unfunny relative tell a meandering story filled with boring ancodotes. It's literally like watching your sister trying to tell a joke after you have told her she isn't funny.
Quite refreshing to see someone not full of themselves on TV. Quite funny.
Tired old format but with some decent material. Unfortunately she's just too theatrical and pantomimey ( if that's a word ).
