Watching the Ted Lasso skits, I was expecting this to be a funny but ridiculous comedy about a dumb American in England. I was presently surprised with the level of joking to serious ratio.
Could have retained the same story whilst showing more knowledge for the beautiful game.

Since a tv show brought a smile to my face. Longer still since I saw anything with the kind of full force positivity on display here.

It's been a long time since I've watched a show that is this simple, enjoyable, and entertaining. Ted Lasso is such a likeable character that you can't help but wish the best for him.
On first appearances, with the light tone and zany characters this might just look like a goofball comedy that accomplished nothing but making the viewer laugh, which is fine. But what sets this show apart from the rest is the heart, the charismatic protagonist, excellent supporting cast and great character development.
