Supermarket Sweep

Supermarket Sweep is one of those game shows I saw as a kid. Airing on Lifetime, Supermarket Sweep is basically a weird idea: a game show set within a supermarket, with all the questions based around food, but it actually works, especially in a time before I ever knew of the Food Network (where a show like this would have better fit).

I believe all fans of the original Supermarket Sweep with David Ruprecht will agree that the allure of the original was, for the most part, its wholesome family oriented corniness. It just worked on many levels, and you'd find yourself yelling at your television trying to help the contestants.

Oh man, just saw the first episode and I LOVED it. Leslie Jones is hilarious and energetic.

I was really looking forward to seeing this, until I did. What a disaster!

The game is goofy and awkward.But hear me out....

My wife and I both loved this show growing up. Was sort of exited to see it come back.
