Irresponsible, disjointed, badly acted mess. No child should ever watch this.
Anyone that had a hand in the creation of this video should be ashamed to show their IGNORANCE in such a way. Telling children, which most of us parents already have a difficult enough time with teaching them right from wrong, to commit crimes is despicable.
Cue the sensitive keyboard music over a boy sneaking into a dresser drawer and placing a gun in his school bag. Next day, he takes the bag to school and presents the weapon to his astonished teacher.
Oh my goodness, the video is advocating reducing gun violence in schools by bringing a gun to school! Hypocrisy!
If any child did what this wildly irresponsible "psa" suggests,they would be committing multiple felonies and subject themselves to expulsion, serious jail time and possibly much worse (god forbid a cop saw the with the gun, the kid could be shot)This "psa" should spell the end of her career as a director and producer.Any teacher that received a gun from a child in this manner could easily be charged with receiving stole.
The description of this as a "Public Service Video on reducing gun violence in schools and communities" is misleading. It does nothing to promote the prevention of violence and instead promotes illegal and extremely dangerous activities.
This so called PSA is a short film suggesting that children steal their parents firearms and take them to school to turn in to school staff. The numerous felonies portrayed and suggested in this short film are life threatening, illegal and immoral.
Where to start? The PSA is supposedly to prevent gun violence.
This is a short "how to" video on how to be immediately expelled from school. The kid has obviously never been taught about gun care based on how he handled the weapon (which would most likely account for his fear of it), so I blame the mom for that.
