Extremely chaotic and shifting in suspence and comedy. because its a comedy about a deaf woman who has a deaftifying love against her abusive partner, kills him like a deaf woman do, are being hired in by hired killers to do the job as a hired killer.
This film had me hooked right from the opening. Kept me quessing the whole time and was infused with dark humor.
At its worst, independent filmmaking is a cheaper form of Hollywood vanilla without the professional backbone. But at its best, it runs wherever it wants to, unshackled by box office and tastemaker demands.
Congrats to all who worked on this film! What a fun ride!
In today's world of studio-only films primarily derived from the safety of comic books, Steele Wool is one of the first true debuts into solo filmmaking, fortunately blessed with a talented writer/director with a veteran eye for high-production values on essentially a zero budget. Cami Varela's performance is sublime and understandably challenging for an actress with a true disability.
I loved this very funny and engaging story of a hit-women. Really well acted and directed.
What a stunning and comedy movie. I loved the shot they made it and entire movie was fun filling action.
Interesting movie. I was into the movie from the beginning to the end.
"Steele Wool" is a fascinating film.First of all, it's a lot of fun.
