Reviews

In an age when most movies exist only to sell toys and Gogurt, it's refreshing to see a film where it is obvious from the beginning that EVERYONE involved actually cares about telling a good story. Writer/Producer Ryan Levin has created smart, likable characters, the cast brings them to life brilliantly (This is Barry Bostwick's best performance ever, as far a I'm concerned), and Jack Perez (The director) creates a unique, constantly interesting look with a low budget.

Just kidding, this is not a horror movie. It's a comedy with some murder thrown in to create some tension.

Ken Boyd is not long out of a mental hospital, and is working at an ice-cream parlour. The people that put him in the mental hospital start turning up dead.

Wow! totally unexpected, wanted to watch something to kill an evening with a few beers (yes sad) , can't bear the overrated Hollywood crap these days, superhuman tom cruise can do no wrong , cgi comic books, schools for wizards , lord of the rings!

Ken works at a ice cream shop and lives with his mother. Things changes when some crimes are committed and soon her daughter makes her appearance.

Badly acted and boring. It's also shot terribly.

If I'd watched it when it came out I would have dubbed it the feelgood hit of the season. The intertwining of grisly murder with what would otherwise be a plain old heartwarming redemption film was to me a recipe that worked well.

Have a habit of choosing mediocre to lousy movies for a lazy Saturday afternoon, but hit the jackpot with this little gem ! It was both funny, heart warming , with a little horror thrown in.

Thriller, comedy, drama, it's all there. A little horror (gore) as well, but I'm not sure what the makers exactly had intended.
