Reviews

The average rating of 6.5 would have been what I would have guessed my review would be assuming it would be a decent movie.

This is a very touching and sweet movie that is unfortunately quite uncommonly known. I only found it because I'm a fan of Ryan Reynolds and he did not disappoint.

Now this is a TV made movie and the quality reflects it. Having no expectations but knowing something quite what to expect.

Norman Warner (John Astin) is a long time winner of Teacher of the Year award from the students. When he dies on the podium, he tells his son and fellow teacher Matt (David Paymer) to take his shot.

I never review movies but this movie melted my brain, there were points during this movie that I left my body and hovered above myself. This movie is insane, it's like this movie was made by some kind of AI.

Unlike the multifaceted image of Matt Warner, always reflecting and doubting,Mr. D is a somewhat schematic, secondary, auxiliary character.

Don't be fooled by the cheesy-looking poster, title, or advertising. This movie is shocked me (and clearly many other reviewers) by actually having a decent plot, good moral, and characters you actually care about.

This movie should be shown to all teachers and aspiring teachers. You will be moved by it.

It's a very entertaining comedy slash soul searching film. I cried through some of it.
