Reviews

"Priest" es un mejunje de ideas muy poco lúcidas que prácticamente no incitan al espectador y nada de novedoso tienen.La cinta por un lado emula la onda videoclipera y los efectos digitales de "Matrix", toma prestados conceptos propios de "Blade" y se basa además en los cientos de filmes de ciencia ficción que enmarcan sus historias dentro futuros distópicos y post-apocalípticos.

This review is kind of special to me, as it marks my one-hundredth review. The title character (Played by Paul Bettany) is a former member of a group of warriors created by a Church - being portrayed as a corporate super power - to slay armies of Vampires, who have been at war with humans for centuries.

This movie was pretty expensive and kind of interesting. It's an alternate universe where vampires are an alternative branch of evolution, and they fight a war against humanity.

Guess a lot of people will have a problem with this flick. Face it, post-apocalyptic vampire flick but you can see that it had it's traditions in the Japanese manga world.

Look, I hate people who have to sum everything up and it takes up a load of space....especially if it is only complaining about this that and the other.

In all honesty while the film looked kind of interesting I was from reading reviews that it was a waste of time(not just on IMDb). So I watched Priest expecting little, but while it had a fair amount of problems with it I found it decent.

Ugh...."Hives" full of vampires, Jedi priests jumping around kicking butt with crosses tattooed on their foreheads, no background development, a plot and dialog that made me feel like I was spending time suffering in purgatory....

If you take vampire genre films and zombie movies, you'll find something in common between them. It's too difficult to make something original and good with this two genres.

I read a review or 2 on for this movie on here, so didn't have very high expectations of this (the rating isn't terribly high). However, this turned out to be a very good movie.
