A petition to stop the production of "Pick A Puppy" a television show from airing on GAC, Scripps Network, LLC and the Corus Entertainment family has been organized. This show claims to be a documentary, however it is far from it.
This is a show where a family decides on a new puppy for their family. They are given a choice between three breeds of dogs.
They clearly go over steps to take to decide on a new puppy! It's great and has a lot of breed info!
I love this show- especially when there's beagles on it. I watch it all the time.
The puppies are put through trial runs like cars....except they are living, breathing creatures with real emotions.
I have always had a pup, even when I lived in "no Pets" accommodations. Watching the show, I don't know how the families can pick just one, l would never be able to choose just one !!!
I like watching this TV program because I like my dogs watching it! They love to see the dogs/puppies featured on the show.
The previous reviewer was obviously on crack and did not watch the show. Pick a Puppy does not have puppies that are " taken in by the families....
I think it is a wise idea for families to see different breeds of puppies prior to choosing one that will blend in well with the lifestyle and home. Asking pertinent questions about puppy and dog care, activity expectations, health concerns are important for all families to select the right dog.
