Naked and Afraid XL

Everyone else sucks and do absolutely nothing but sit around and gossip and gloat besides EJ and Jeff. EJ and Jeff are the protagonists here.

If you liked Naked & Afraid, or seeing someone's butt crack, you will love this show. To be fair they were shooting for 40 days, they can't do a perfect job every day.

THIS IS ABOUT AS CLOSE AS YOU'RE GOING TO GET TO THE ANTHROPOLOGY OF HUMAN BEHAVIOR IN ITS PUREST DEVELOPMENT. NOW, FOR THIS NEW SHOW FORMAT, THEY CAST FOR A 40 DAY TREK OF NAKED AND RAW SURVIVAL -WITH A NEW GROUP DYNAMIC- AND ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE!

Dani, Shane, EJ, and the huntsman Jeff. Those other peoples mission was to just be there, THEY SUCK!!!

I loved the early seasons of the original Naked and Afraid because they taught honest survival skills. That slowly got scarified in favor of more forced drama as the show went on before culminating in Naked and Afraid XL, where they allowed clearly unqualified contenders to return and set about trying to push their buttons.

This show is a must watch- very entertaining when they have tribes. Love the all female team gettin it done!

The producers seem to have turned this show into a high-school popularity contest. They've clearly told the cast to reject the 'weak links', of course what happens when people get hungry and tired they fight anyway so this is the last thing you need to do to actually stoke this antagonism and actually choose a cast to achieve it.

The very last episode of Naked and Afraid season 2, brought the whole thing crashing down for me. I actually enjoyed the show before that.

In the first incarnation of "Naked and Afraid", it seemed like a series of long endurance tests. Most of the individuals either tapped out or were miserable for the entire 21 day experience.
