Reviews

I have watched the movie yesterday at star world, it's so fantastic and really amazed me. me, as a masscomm graduate of the University of Baguio wished also to document my life though i don't know who would be the persons i'm going to work with cause all of my friends are busy with their projects during times when we were students.

As a fan of Drew Barrymore (easily the cutest, charming, funny and down to earth Hollywood actress there are!) I didn't know of the existence of this movie till my colleague told me about it.

Downloaded this movie and was surprised at the reviews praising it on this site. Obviously most are fake who give it nearly perfect scores.

Picture it: Mid-2000s. The idea of a documentary involving stalking, er, trying for a date with the person of your dreams was, in fact, original back then.

I love this film. In my eyes it is perfect.

"My Date With Drew" accomplishes what any movie wants to. It evokes genuine emotions.

This is the story of an average guy, Brian Herzlinger, who sets out on a mission to get a date with Drew Barrymore. He has 30 days to do it and only $1,100 to spend (his winnings from a TV game show).

Man. Go out there and dream.

So, I met the guys behind this flick as they videotaped themselves walking to a screening at the Comedy Arts Festival. My initial impression was something like "Wow, major film geeks, here.
