I've read many bad reviews about this movie here and honestly it baffles me. This is, without a doubt, one of the better films made in Bollywood EVER.

Recently i saw some old video clippings containing reviews by audiences. I was aghast with their ruthless comments.

Once in a while a movie comes along that leave a convincingly pleasant aftertaste, many moments after having watched it and Dhobi Ghat is exactly that and much more. Dhobi Ghat is a series of interwoven and interlaced abstract paintings that Director Priya Rao paints so relentlessly that one is glued to the whole process.

Please NOTE the following while you go to watch DHOBI GHAT: * It's an out and out Kiran Rao film, who happens to be the intellectual Mrs. Aamir Khan.

We have been trying Indian movies.. Liked few Amir Khan ones so wanted to give this one a try which is total disappointment and waste of time from our lives that we can't ever get back unfortunately.

Shows a slice of mumbai life.. how different lives have some connections and influences on others!!

I understand people's point of view that nothing happens in conclusion. But I think that was never the point.

Can't say I liked it much. After watching the movie, I didn't remember a lot of it..

Lo and behold, there's a new talent on the director's chair. Take a bow, Kiran Rao, this is one of the best directorial debuts ever.
