This tv series wasn't that bad, but it's OK for now. This tv series sure needs a little bit of funny of course.
The first 2 episodes are really dull. Plus there's a lot of woke topicality in it, along with incredibly outdated pop culture references, like Gary Coleman.
Fresh. Different.
Unless the writers actually write a funny script it's going nowhere.
Ted Danson may be 73 years old but he shows once again that he is a veteran of television and deserves the big star on his name over the theater marquee. I think this new comedy series will be especially appreciated by anyone gainfully employed in civic politics who thinks their elected officials are breathing air belonging to someone else.
After many years of writing underdog New York fairy tales, Tina Fey and Robert Carlock are trying something new - for those looking for "Good Place 30 Rock", you might at first feel a bit thrown. The insane, madcap joke density and magical realist world details are all there, but we're presented with a gentler, less corporate-nihilistically-scrappy sandbox for them to cut loose in.
Good cast given very very bad lines to read. Was hoping for more following The Good Place.
It is supposed to be funny - it is not. Only watched one episode and flipped over to Wheel Of Fortune and laughed a lot.
I was really looking forward to this show. It has some terrific actors, some new, and the worst writers in Hollywood!
