Way Down South in South Orange, New Jersey -- and don't blame me, because that's how the opening titles read -- Miss Cloy Cloymore is waiting for her fiancée to return from the war -- which war it isn't quite clear, since it's a modern-dress movie made in 1915, so perhaps he's been trapped in the Balkans for three years. But in those three years she has changed from a perfectly charming young woman to someone who, under the influence of lapdogs, talks in baby-talk....
