At the point where 'Nikki' is found in the bathtub by Ron, she is hauled out of the tub fully clothed and soaked - but in the next shot on the bathtub edge, her shirt (underneath the towel given to dry her) is visibly dry and gets wet again as she attempts to drown him.
Loved it!! It was a nice change with the twists and updates to the story without ultimately changing the plot.
It's Tarsem Singh's take on Snow White. The Queen (Julia Roberts) banishes Snow White (Lily Collins) into the woods where she's taken in by seven dwarfs, after being jealous of her connection to Prince Alcott (Armie Hammer).
Mirror Mirror is the better of the two films based on the fairy-tale Snow White to be released in 2012, the other being Snow White And The Huntsman. I decided to watch the film when I saw the poster.
It was a good movie for fun. I wonder why so many people do not seem to like it.
Generally I like Julia Roberts. So the first thing that I notice is that she is narrating the movie and has these little annoying "asides" as though she's speaking to the audience.
Just saw this on TV April 2016. Loved it!!!
Compared to other family-friendly fantasy movies, this film is a bit weak at points, especially in its often subpar humor. There also isn't a lot of time to explore the characters beyond our initial impressions of them, though the acting is perfectly fine.
If you want to dig this one up for nostalgic reasons, you might be disappointed.I watched this movie over twenty years ago.
Please watch this movie with an open mind. This is not the traditional fairy-tale story you remembered instead it's a fairy tale with a modern twist.
