The writing was good, the actors (most of them) are talented, the leads have chemistry but then......it fizzles.
I 'm really love a good Holiday Hallmark movie. Midnight at the Magnolia isn't one of them.
Do not rent this movie for more than a minute, thats all you will need to work out what happens.. From the writing to the acting to the clueless characters and back to the writing , this film is terrible.
A romantic Christmas comedy. It's about the best friends who have a radio show and in it they talk about how difficult it is to introduce their partners to their families, so they decide to make it massive because of publicity, but everything goes wrong when they don't accept and decide to pretend they are a couple.
The Idea is great but the acting!!!!!!! Oh god I couldn't even finish the movie because of it.
Stopped after few minutes because of EXTREMELY RANDOM shot of OSLO even tho the movie is set in Chicago (and apparently filmed in Ottawa)...idk this just kinda ruined everything, it's like filming a movie set in Paris and then randomly putting a shot from New York and thinking people wouldn't notice.
