What a smart film! Really keeps you guessing.

I saw this film at the Hermosa Beach Film Festival. It's been a long time since I've seen a short film so entertaining and so well crafted on all levels!

First off, I just want to say that this movie was filmed in my town and I had no idea when I brought the ticket for it (it was either this one or Garfiel 2). When I watched this movie, I thought of the show "Fawlty Towers".

Lotto definitively falls under the "Favorites" category for independent films. It exposes the viewer to real life situations that draw you into the storyline while keeping you intrigued as to what will happen next.

What a refreshing take on a story about winning the lottery! In this too-brief film, the acting is superb, the writing is phenomenal, and the directing holds it all together in a tightly woven package.

By way if introduction, I'm a dedicated movie and TV fan, but up until now, I've never written a fan letter to a celebrity, nor have I ever written a movie review. I'm a frequent visitor to the IMDb web site, primarily looking for advance information on upcoming movies and TV guest appearances of my favorite actresses.

Two people win the lottery on a ticket they share with coworkers and friends, but decide to keep the money they won to themselves. They then try and hide their ego-centric deed through all sorts of weird ideas, including faking cancer, and although there are a few funny moments placed at the odd moment, they are completely forgotten by the time you reach the end, and Jørgen finally comes clean to his coworkers, in one of the most anti-climactic moments I have ever seen on the Danish screen ...
