I go to Novato High School where this film was shown to my film as literature class by the writer/director. "Wherever You Are" is an amazing portrait of today's American family and I highly recommend it to anyone who feels like their family is dysfunctional...
I want to start by saying that for what this brilliant movie is trying to achieve, it is quite close to perfect in its own simplistic way. Few movies have ever achieved a slice-of-life quality that is touching, plus authentic and never dull!
