Once up on the characters and if u can look past the now drastically dated FX this is a great show, great concept and highly entertaining (speaking to you sci-fi nerds of course) so if u have been thinking about it, do it please it's a great show.
It's a shame that Lexx has been more or less forgotten about, while shows like Firefly, Star Trek, Stargate and the like live on a classics. Granted, I don't think Lexx is better than those shows, but it is certainly a more interesting show, for better or worse.

I didn't like Lexx at first. This was mainly due to the fact that, like many other negative reviews I see here, I only caught odd episodes here and there.
I've actually only seen episodes from the fourth series and i've fallen completely in love with Lexx. I think I started watching it half way through the series and I just had to keep watching it, even though at first some of the plots confused me, having had nothing else to reference them to.
If you watch the shows regularly and often then you'll begin to understand the context of it and the people like Stan, Kai, Zev and that robot thing. can never remember the name.
