A new origin story for the hero Shazam, that delivers in lots of ways, but still doesn't reach the heights of the theatrically released lego movies or the live action film.The story is pretty great and it's definitely worth a watch, the humour is a little lacking but not totally gone.
I'll be honest up front. I could only get through 20 minutes of this - right around the point where the villain was revealed.
The Lego DC Universe has a new superhero, Shazam. After he helps the Justice League at the Metropolis Farmers' Market, the group invites him, however, he refuses, as he his afraid to show his true identity due to being a kid and they will reject him for it.
Here's a question. Why did we not get an animated Shazam movie sooner?
Well done and entertaining, this movie is a must for DC and Shazam fans.
