When i watched the first few minutes of the first episode i though it would be this gritty post-apocalyptic adventure series and that got me really excited beause we dont really have a lot of animated cartoons out there like that, and the sad part is that the show was ALMOST that but in the end it fell just short. my main gripe is that the show is just too goofy for me to take it seriously, the majority of the episodes i watched was mostly about "woohoo!

First episode caught my eye immediately. I'm easily distracted but I cannot tear my eyes from this show.

The idea of a post-apocalyptic world is nothing new but somehow Kipo manages to take a tired trope and turn it into something entirely new and unexpected. The animation itself is nothing ground-breaking but the artistic style and world building are far better than they have any right to be for a kids show, and in some respects it reminds me a little of Avatar The Last Airbender.

Incredibly creative-- visually, with fight scenes, and plot points. Ultimately it's a story of survival and profound relationships amidst the most badass sound track I've heard in animation.

The action of the show happens in the post-apocalyptic world, where people forced to leave under the surface of Earth because of sensible mutant animals occupied the surface. The main character is a thirteen years old girl Kipo.

Progressive writers ruined the story. Unfortunate as it started off excellent and wholesome.

When I first started watching Season 1 I was completely hooked. I was amazed, I thought this was really one of the most amazing TV series I had watched in a long time the colours and style were so beautiful and seemed to speak to me on so many levels.
