Not only was this movie believable, it was the best Lifetime movie I'd seen in the last 5 years. I had become so bored with the way the movies have morphed into the same online girl looking for love or adventure, or compromised teachers, or killers so silly that I didn't care what they did just as long as I could turn the channel.
When I first saw this movie, I thought it was going to be another boring LMN movie, with all the cliches, lines and scenarios that I see way to often, but it was different. This movie had a very original plot line and very good actors.
Very poor credibility, and bad acting by lead female.credibility: a woman goes into a house of her neighbor who she has suspicions about.
***SPOILERS*** Coming home one night after seeing a play Evan & Jessica Crowder, Andrew W. Walker & Courtney Ford, find their apartment broken into and end up getting ripped off-at gunpoint- of all their valuables including Jessica's engagement ring by the friendly neighbor crack-head Matt Enos looking for his latest fix.
Although a bit far-fetched in certain spots,it was a decent story.
PROS: For starters, this movie knew exactly what it was and it didn't stray from that. There was nothing fancy, nothing creative, however, there was just enough to keep you engaged.
A couple have their flat broken into. They go inside BEFORE phoning the police, and promptly get more stuff stolen by the homeless guy still there, who holds them at gunpoint.
Directly below is a partial quote taken from the description of this movie: ...'finds comfort with a man trapped in a modern day society after being left behind in a botched time traveling experiment from the 1950'...
This is such a diabolical plot. Having walked in on a burglary in their home, a young couple move to the suburbs to escape the so called crime in the city.
