This remake of the 1935 comedy It Always Happens starring Andy Clyde features Bert Wheeler in the title role. Wheeler had difficulty finding steady work after his comedy partner Robert Woolsey died in 1938, but Columbia signed him for a couple of two-reel comedies in the early 1950s, a time when the studio was remaking several shorts.
