This iis a depressing flick, made in and around the echo park area of l.a.
I don't have much to say about any of this. I only finished it because I'm sitting here one hour and I'm like what is going on.
I caught 'In Echo Park' at the Boston International Film Festival and was very impressed with this first feature film from Nat Lezra. He has a natural instinct and eye for depicting and wrestling with the conundrums--both comic and tragic--of life in the 21st century American city.
Surely the writer has connections in hollywood as this script made no sense, was boring, had no structure! Its funny how a 1 star script gets made while 5 star ones get passed on.
