"The Price of Death" by Lorenzo Gicca Palli is quite an unusual spaghetti western as it mixes spaghetti western sub-genre with giallo/murder mystery.Silver who is elegantly dressed and lives in a hacienda with beautiful senoritas is hired to find out if the accused Chester Conway, the black sheep of the town really is guilty of the murder charge that he is to hang for.

"Il Venditore Di Morte" aka. "Price Of Death" is an unusual mixture of Spaghetti Western and Murder Mystery.

I don't want to spoil this movie but have too in order to address a few points to educate or just plain have you think about it. This could have been a great SW movie I give it 6/10 only because, I like Garko and Kinski and the Silver character could have been much better if they just stuck to him trying to find out about the young Mexican girl that was killed in the opening scene.

Smooth and suave gunman Silver (a terrific performance by the charismatic Gianni Garko) is hired to prove the innocence of no-count town black sheep Chester Conway (Klaus Kinski in fine slimy form), who's been sentenced to death for a murder he didn't commit. Writer/director Lorenzo Gicca Palli ably crafts a unique and compelling blend of the giallo and spaghetti Western genres that puts a greater emphasis on story over action.

Spaghetti Western crammed with intrigue , murders , lots of fights , crossfire , twists and turns . An Italian production full of action , extreme characters, shootouts and loads of violence .

"Il venditore di morte" is an interesting mixture of western, crime and comedy. The gunman Silver (John Garko, even more elegant than in his Sartana films) is hired to prove the innocence of Chester Conway (Klaus Kinski) who is sentenced to death for a murder he didn't commit.

I recently watched this movie because I'm a big Kinski Fan. But, oh my god.

Gianni Garko stars in a slight variation of his Sartana persona (so slight it's almost non-existent), here named Silver. Or MISTER Silver if you are the unlucky type.
