This show, honestly, is a typical white show about a young white girl experiencing white privileges and not actually having an actual BLACK friend, but instead we're of a biracial friend just to appeal to the black audience who MIGHT watch. A tactic that I always thought was a slap in the face due to the fact that most productions feel that "full" black characters won't sell.
Well, this was awful. Cliche, bad acting, and more of a crappy Disney show that you would have running for background noise.
Looked at all the positive reviews, which weren't many. The only titles they've reviewed were this title.
All the first three episodes were pretty good, but here comes some things they could do better. In the first episode (the show starter) Holly's grandmother's cafè needed to close and Amy (Holly's friend) wanted to be with piper.

Boring. Terrible.
The acting is great but I really hate holly and her parents so much. The parents are grounding their kid for telling the truth, and not caring if their daughter runs away.
A pleasant, wholesome show working to instill what is right in children and young adults and teaching them there are consequences when doing wrong. The actors all do a great job and just when you think someone is going to be a snippy character, they're not and I love that about the show.
Finally a show that can be watched as a family. Excellent selection of actors and the plot line is totally relatable to everyone.
