When Kara calls home, Beth answers a cordless phone, but the base station would not work without electricity.

There is no bus route from Pontiac to Dwight, although it says there is on the map at the Haddonfield bus station.

When he is on the phone with Barry Simms, Tommy manages to hold the phone in his right hand and, at the same, time type with the same hand.

There is blood running down Jamie's chin when she is being impaled on the farm equipment, but then it disappears and reappears.

When Mrs.

Strode is cleaning up her porch she is wearing Nike Air shoes.

When she goes into the house, into the basement we see a close-up of her shoes and they've changed completely; different brand and type.

When she discovers Michael in her house she runs into her yard, once out of the house the Nike Air shoes reappear When John Strode goes downstairs, the position of his hair changes.

After Michael has thrown Jamie on the forked bars, he holds his hands up to her face and suddenly rips her shirt.

In the next scene, the shirt is still on her, and not ripped.

(Producer's Cut).

During the flashback scene at the beginning of the film when Jamie is being taken by the man in black away from the police station, she is forced into a mid 1990's model Ford conversion van.

Since the scene took place in 1989, this model wouldn't have existed, as the Ford vans that were built during the 1980s had rectangular-shaped grilles instead of the trapezoidal-shaped one that was shown.

(Producer's Cut).

The map at the bus station puts both Haddonfield and Smith's Grove between the cities of Pontiac and Dwight.

Haddonfield and Smith's Grove are 150 miles apart while Pontiac and Dwight are only 18 miles apart.

If the map in the bus station were to be believed, Haddonfield is located in Livingston County, Illinois.

In the previous films, it was in Warren County.

(at around 6 mins) The text of the newspaper cuttings on Tommy's wall do not relate to the events of the original Halloween.

While the headlines refer to Michael's killings, the body of the articles discuss, amongst other subjects, an international conference and political difficulties for a city mayor.

In the Theatrical version, before Michael starts the doctor massacre, he hears the sound of Tommy and Kara fleeing into another room.

He stops, and turns around to investigate the sound but doesn't find anything.

As he turns to walk the other way, they show his reflection in mirrors on the wall, and if you look, you'll see a crew member in the mirror just before the mirror is out of frame.

Reviews

This review is for the theatrical cut which I prefer. As long as we ignore Michael getting his eyes shot out at the end of 2.

By now the "Halloween" franchise is just running on fumes. It hit its zenith at part 2, did a complete nosedive in part 3, a slight recovery in part 4, then back on the slide in part 5, and a further digression in this episode.

The Curse of Michael Myers has and will always be my favorite film of the Halloween franchise. I am a Halloween freak and I've seen each film hundreds of times.

Part VI takes place six years after the fifth film ends, with a young woman(said to be Jamie Lloyd, but played by a different actress) escaping the mysterious cult that held her prisoner, along with her baby, with Michael Myers once again in murderous, relentless pursuit. She leaves the baby behind in a bus depot for safety, only to be brutally dispatched by Michael...

After Jamie Lloyd daughter of Laurie Strode gives birth, Michael Myers sets out to find his niece's baby. From the elaborate opening of an older Jamie giving birth and her frantic escape, Curse's focus shifts from the menacing unstoppable killer slightly in place of a wider underground cult theme, hinted at in the previous instalment.

I always have to put a disclaimer in front of a review because there is always some joker out there who likes to argue taste which I find annoying. The first film since Dimension (Disney) took over the franchise.

Rest in Peace Donald Pleasence. He is a true legend.

I was so excited to see this final Halloween movie and I was so disappointed about the storyline. The whole idea about a curse and a man in black was kind of dumb and seemed not like the Halloween movies I used to love.

Michael Myers is back! Heading to Haddonfield to go after Laurie Strode's daughter Jamie (who we met and followed in the last 2 films), only to find that she and her young son have escaped.
