Halahal , based on Vyapam scam of Madhya Pradesh is directed by debutat Randeep Jha and script is penned by Gibran Noorani and Zeeshan Qadri .The film doesn't stray much outside the main storyline and dives quickly into it.
Its really amazing movie based on true incident Barun does marvellous job again after Asur Direction is also Good, Screenplay is not up to the mark but overall its very Good movie.
Halahal begins and ends with scenes set in the night-time. In between, characters wind in and out of police stations, colleges, hostel rooms and hotels, shining a feeble torchlight on that elusive thing called justice.
While we are still dealing with the actual reason behind the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, Eros Now's Halahal exposes the harsh reality of the current situation with a strong message."How far can would you go to seek justice for your loved one ?
It does seem to have issues with the plot and the whole charm in the movie, however it's still a must watch. Barun sobti has risen a level above with his brilliant performance, after asur he has yet again left a mark of great acting skills.
With so many movies steaming from different sources it's hard to keep track of good one's. AFTER A LONG LONG TIME I have seen a movie which has ALL the right checks.

The movie very truthfully portrays the ongoing deterioration of the Indian education system. Halahal (meaning "venom") is set against the backdrop of the 2013 Vyapam Scam: a medical entrance-exam and admission racket that featured junior officials, coaching institutes and top ministers, as well as "accidental deaths" of potential whistle-blowers and loose ends.
A low budget with not none cast still manages easily to tie you to the edge. Great acting Great story And good direction And a good try to bring the mal practices of our society on the screen.
