Phenomenal series that portrays gritty modern high school issues in a realistic way. Odessa was incredible, your heart bleeds for Joey as she begins to spiral.

This is a fabulous show. It's current, it's heart wrenching, it's difficult and it's serious.
I was skeptic and chose not to watch this at first because of the review rating was below 7. I was in the dog house and my wife wanted to watch this so I dare not to say anything.
I've heard the excuses of why the producers do this but it doesn't cut any ice with me. Actors in their 20s playing mid-teenagers just spoils the whole show or movie.
