The pace is very slow. The plot is very thin, and lacks intensity or thrill.

I didn't think this was too bad, I thought it would be in the beginning but throughout the movie all was fine...don't hold anything for it though..

"Girlfriend's Day" is a comedy-drama film with certain mystery influences, under the direction of Michael Paul Stephenson, who makes an overall good job, in this rather slow paced, gloomy film. Bob Odenkirk stars as greeting card writer Ray who, after being fired, enters a new contest to write the best greeting card commemorating the newly introduced Girlfriend's Day.

The paradigm has finally shifted and you won't be finding any beautiful--in a superficial surface sense--people here. They have been replaced, at last, by the talented people.

"Girlfriend's Day," (2017). Starring Bob Odenkirk, Amber Tamblyn, and Stacey Keach.

The script, the actors, the production values here are excellent. There's just one thing that ruins it.

It's all been said - odd, quirky, very different. Really enjoyed its eccentricity.

This is really short, almost to a degree where I was thinking if the running time indicates this to be a TV show. It isn't, it's a feature length that just is way shorter than the 90 minutes we are used to.
