You have to love Ed Helms ... well if you don't, the movie will be quite the torture for you.
Besides the kind of message that sends out regarding cops & how idiotic, weak, naive they seem to be portrayed in this film. The language & message that the film sends out is that is perfectly normal for an 11 year old to speak like this to a cop & to white adults.
I like Ed Helms, but he should have run away from this script. The kid in this movie was extremely annoying and unwatchable.
This film was horrible, acting wise, plot wise and overall.The kid was too much to the point where it became annoying, irritating and really un-funny.
This unfunny buddy comedy had to be one of the most incoherent pieces of garbage I've ever witnessed. At least a movie like The Room had cult potential.

You know, all those horrible reviews that you just read about this "film"? I agree with them all, 100%.
Coffee and Kareem is comedic in a number of scenes but its not enough to carry this film. It is easy enough to follow but quite unoriginal in its story.
I'm sorry but I find Ed Helms so annoying in everything he does.
