Body of Proof

I love Dana Delany and I love crime shows....this show delivers in a similar way Desperate Housewives and the such do, unbelievable in certain aspects but thoroughly enjoyable at the same time.

It was one of my favorite tv shows ever and I'm so unhappy about the cancellation. The story was about to get very very excited and now we can never know what was going to happen.

It is amazing how bad the writing for this show is, I've laughed so many times just because of how dumb and illogical things are.

I happened upon this series by accident. I saw it was filmed in RI (my residence) so I decided to give it a watch.

Not in a long time has there been a good mystery show without a ton of profanity and needless sex scenes.In addition, this show had great writing, acting, wonderful cast, and a phenomenal script.

Basically, it's a very good medical/murder/mystery/drama that is totally ruined by it's annoying main character. Granted she is supposedly the best doctor on the face of the earth (sarc).

The first two seasons were good. The last season was garbage, not because of the change in cast (sad to see the guy go, glad to see the girl go), but because he producer's went out of their way to make the episodes more like mini horror movies which is not what the show is about.

Serials are a real tough game - once they are good, it is clever to stop in time and not let them drag or turn into a pale parody of themselves, as it has happened to Prison Break, Lost, Walking Dead, Sons Of Anarchy, or many many many other serials. Body Of Proof is different - only 3 seasons were aired, and sadly, it was canceled, which I find a criminal stupidity.

Body of proof had some very good episodes that were full of fun and mystery but then it started to go downhill a bit from there. i still watch body of proof because it is very interesting and gives you new perspectives on crime shows.
