It doesn't try anything new sure the animation is nice too look at, and its a significant improvement over the series sure, but it doesn't go beyond that,the characters are stagnant Throughout the movie, nobody changes, not even the main protagonist boboiboy who supposed to go on a journey of rediscovery what it meant to have power. its laughable.

This maybe enjoyed by children but is very "childish" and not at all for adults. The voice acting is like people reading a script.

BoBoiBoy The Movie (2016) VS BoBoiBoy Movie 2 (2019) BoBoiBoy The Movie : Pros : Heart-touching storyline (especially on the half time of the movie when BoBoiBoy almost lost his best friend)have teamwork on almost every action scenesthe main character got mental and emotional development. BoBoiBoy becomes more wise.
This movie is an absolute success and perfection! I still cant believe how far Malaysia's animation have advanced.
