Beyond

First of all Peter Kelamis is brilliant in this. Big thumbs up.

There's a few movies out that deal with the near death experience. Few do it as neatly and with as much engagement as this one.

If you enjoy interesting locations, want to feel like you've been to Alaska, and appreciate uncomplicated mysteries with good actors, give Beyond a peek. The direction and script could have been better.

If you run out of sf / mystery tv shows, and you try to dig out something, this show is watchable if you skip 2 till 4 episodes in both seasons, they are boring and have no relation to any important story plots. After 5th episodes things actually start to happen.

Great! No Apocalypse ever comes.

In Alaska, the veteran police detective Jon Koski (Jon Voight) is near retirement and is a specialist in missing children. Koski is troubled by a failure in his past and is haunted by nightmares with a woman and the little girl Aurora.

During the pandemic, this hits the spot when you've nothing to watch. I've only watched Season 1.

If you love stories that are driven by character development and story then this is your kind of film. Real old fashion story telling that takes some time to develop people you care about.

Some lesser-known but very good actors and actresses in this series helped make it enjoyable.Eden Brolin was great, hope to see her in future TV series and movies.
