Love it, and won't hear a bad thing said about it.Completely took me by surprise years ago, just love the whole thing, characters, story lines, the way there were some really good big story lines running through and some really good 1 episode story lines.
Babylon 5 series 1994-98. I actually liked this show until it got to its last couple of seasons with some of the main actors starting too use theological batter in declaring there believes were real and that was what matter rather than telling the story of Babylon 5 whose original story-line was about human and Alien diversity of mutual respect and equality and the adventures these people had on-the-way, but they also made very complicated story-line and with character interaction making it so that if you did not pay attention you'll loose the story-plot with such detail that it also allowed for these actors to take-over a very good scifi-opera.
I have watched a lot of scifi shows over the years. I've seen Farscape all seasons and movies.
I just finished watching the show now, and I must say I am quite sad as I thoroughly enjoyed it. It is exactly my cup of tea and is probably the best in it's genre (and I have watched everything else there is).
I'm probably the only one, but I found this show so boring. The cgi was amazing, seeing the different alien races, and different parts and sections of the ship was cool, and when the 3 space battles happened out of the 30 episodes I suffered through happened....
With this series finally making its way into the Streaming universe (on Amazon, as I write this), I figured that I should take a moment to finally write a review, especially since I enjoyed it so much, when it first aired.Generally, great writing.
The writer JMS has done such an amazing job that it's very difficult to write a summary of just why this series is so good. This series will be become a total epic ..
I agree that Babylon 5 should have a sequel. It is a series of exceptions and if they have so many fans, they should make a sequel, we should not have to ask them so.
A fully realissed universe which is grittier than star trek and better realised. The visuals were way ahead of their time..
