This movie literally made me want to blow my own brains out a number of times, no joke these people are just so completely unlikable. I guess that is the point though, and you will only understand if you stay till the end, and let the credits roll just a bit for the finish that actually makes the torture of enduring these pompous fools worth your time.

I really enjoyed this movie. I had no idea what to expect and was more than pleasantly surprised.

This film would have been decent had the comedy been tempered with some serious situations involving serious people of some intellect. Instead there was very little about serious would-be authors.

I enjoyed this film so much, that I watched it (the first film I've EVER done this with!) *two days in a row* - the first time alone, and the second time, with a friend!!

As a writer myself, with two self-published novels and more rejections than I'd care to count, I found "Authors Anonymous" to be thoroughly enjoying. It is the sort of movie that Christopher Guest does so well, depicting a group of wannabes who take themselves far too seriously.

I'm a frustrated writer. I have written a lot of articles and feature stories of various topic, but I never began to write even one page of my first novel.

Against my previous experiences with direct-to-video movies I made the mistake of renting this one all because the cast and the plot seemed promising. This is really the first movie that I felt like making a comment about before I even finished watching it.

I am rating it a 4/10, based by just its trailer. Now many of you might have reactions like, What's wrong with you?

I wasn't sure whether or not to give this one a go considering the current low rating (which was 4.4 when I wrote this review) but I must say I'm glad I did.
